The New York State Union of Police Associations, Inc. (NYSUPA) is a highly regarded statewide labor organization that effectively represents police officers, deputy sheriffs, and other law enforcement professionals across New York State. With a membership of over 4,000, NYSUPA collaborates with independent local Police Benevolent Associations (PBAs) and Associations, spanning thirty-three (33) counties in the state. These local organizations retain their own bargaining certificates and enjoy complete autonomy in managing their internal affairs and business operations. NYSUPA is dedicated to providing comprehensive services, including negotiations, disciplinary representation, grievances, handling Improper Practice Charges at the New York State Public Employment Relations Board (PERB), addressing officer-involved shootings, and advocating for legislation at both state and national levels. Our commitment to our member affiliates ensures that we remain accessible and responsive to their needs.
